Core Charge Reimbursement

Some parts have a core charge. The core charge is a deposit that the manufacturer charges us, and which we pass on to you. You pay the core charge when you place your order. If you return the old part to us, we refund the core charge. To receive credit, cores must be returned within 30 calendar days of the date of shipment from Sarad with the Core Return Form that was included with your package. Cores must be complete, rebuildable, fit the same vehicle application and be returned in the same packaging in which the part was delivered. The customer is responsible for the removal of any items from the core that would be necessary for the proper installation of the replacement part (i.e. any brackets or bolts). All components sent to the customer must be sent back on the core to receive credit. For instance, if a screw is on a turbocharger, the screw must be returned on the core. We rarely refuse core credit, but cannot credit you if a core is demolished, rusted solid, or otherwise not rebuildable. The customer takes the responsibility of emptying all fluids from the core and packaging it securely and safely for credit. Shipping charges on cores are not refundable. You will therefore need to decide if the core deposit is worth the shipping cost.

Cores with the following problems are unacceptable for receipt of credit:

Steering Gear Box: Damaged port threads; Damaged housing; Stripped or damaged pitman shaft; Damaged input shaft splines; Stripped or broken mountings; Broken solenoids or solenoid wires

Power Steering Pumps: Bent or broken return tubes; Damaged pulley shafts; Damaged mountings; Damaged port threads

Turbochargers: Damaged cartridge, turbine wheel, turbine shaft, rotating assembly, bearing housing, compressor housing, turbine housing, any damaged and/or missing components, or otherwise not rebuildable

Rack & Pinion: Bent mountings or tie rod ends; Damaged port threads, steel lines, pinion splines, or solenoids


Sarad catalogs its parts to the best of its ability, but our catalog is not always 100% accurate. Errors in our catalog or lack of details will not be deemed as valid reasons for return or reimbursement on items. To ensure that you've ordered the right parts, verify that the part numbers are the ones you really need. You can also give us your VIN number and we will double check that the items you are ordering fit your vehicle. Sarad also maintains pricing to the best of its ability. Our costs occasionally fluctuate and therefore prices fluctuate as well. All orders are subject to a price confirmation by the customer. If there is a change in price from what is advertised, Sarad will seek approval by the purchaser in advance of shipping.

Merchandise Returns

Unused regularly stocked items can be returned with a 15% restocking fee. Sarad does not stock every item we sell on the website. Some items are special ordered once an order is placed. Any special order items cannot be returned! If you are not sure what is a special order item, please call us before placing the order to check! All returns must be in the original packaging. Returns will be accepted only if merchandise was originally purchased from Sarad and accompanied by the original invoice number, date of purchase, and Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. Obtaining an RGA number ensures that the return process is handled efficiently and that credits are issued in a timely manner. No reimbursement will be made for items – in any condition – beyond 25 calendar days of the date of purchase. Upon inspection of damaged or defective merchandise, Sarad will decide whether merchandise is acceptable for return. If an item was defective out of the box, the item will need to be returned to Sarad and inspected. Upon inspection, if the item was found to be defective by Sarad, Sarad may reimburse a return shipping cost, and will ship the fixed item, or a replacement item at no cost to the customer. Special orders or discontinued items are not refundable. Items that have been altered in any way (including the packaging) are not refundable. Sarad does not assume responsibility for labor done on installation of any item that is deemed defective.

If you decide that you do not need a part, Sarad does not mind taking it back, but you will incur a 25% restocking fee on all returned items, and Sarad cannot recover the shipping cost on any item! In addition to this restocking fee, if your order qualified for free shipping, Sarad reserves the right to charge you the returned item's original outbound shipping cost.

Sarad is not responsible for the costs of any damages exceeding the cost of the part to any other parts of the vehicle, so be sure to inspect the part thoroughly prior to installation. If a certain part purchased does not fit perfectly, do not try to “make it fit.” Sarad does not accept returns of any flammable or hazardous liquid or gas items. If you refuse delivery of merchandise, or the address is invalid or incorrect, a subsequent shipping charge will apply for any additional shipments required.

Refunds will be issued in the same form as paid (i.e. credit card payments will receive credit to the same card used to place the order). All reimbursements of shipping costs will be made based on Sarad’s standard shipping rates, and email confirmation will be given when the refund has been issued.


Large items that require shipping via freight company will be charged the advertised shipping rate if they are shipped to a commercial address and no liftgate is used. If you require shipping to residential address, an additional charge of $80 will be added to the shipping cost. If you require a liftgate, an additional charge of $100 will be added to shipping cost. For large items that require a freight company: If you are able to arrange your own shipping with a freight company for cheaper than our price - please let us know and we will allow you to arrange shipping on your own without charging you any shipping costs. Smaller items are shipped via USPS, FedEx, or UPS ground. All advertised shipping prices are for United States shipments. Any shipments outside of the United States will cost extra - please contact us to inquire costs. All advertised shipping prices for large Items that require a freight company are for continental United States - anywhere outside of that will cost extra - please contact us to inquire costs.

Unless the ordered items are not regularly stocked items, orders placed by noon Eastern Standard Time usually ship the same day but we cannot guarantee that an order will ship the same day it is placed. Orders do not ship during non-business hours (we do not ship on holidays, Saturday, or Sunday). 95% of orders are shipped within 24 hours of receiving the order. Emergency shipping (i.e. next day air) is available; please call for details. Customer is responsible for ensuring that Fedex, UPS, and/or any other carrier used can deliver to a specified shipping address.  Customers are responsible for any customs/duty charges of international shipments.

All parts are covered by the original manufacturers’ warranty. Our warranty covers sending a replacement part, and reimbursing upon receipt of the returned part. It is our policy to replace all defective or incorrect parts, within the guidelines of the “Merchandise Returns” section as noted above. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the part and only as long as the part is installed in the vehicle for which it was originally purchased. Any improper use, abuse, neglect, careless handling, damage done by improper installation or repairs, or removal of a part from a vehicle in which it was first installed after purchase from Sarad shall void the warranty, and labor costs are not covered under warranty. You may contact us to validate the status of any warranty.

Limited Engine Warranty and Return Policy

Engine Return Policy

All unused, regular inventory engines my be returned to Sarad for a full refund. Any used, modified, installed engines are subject to the limited engine warranty. The limited engine warranty applies to all engines sold through Sarad unless a different type of warranty is specified in Sarad's product description page.

Limited Engine Warranty Statement

Engines purchased from Sarad are covered under a 1 year or 15,000 Mile warranty (whichever comes first from date of purchase). The warranty is only limited to repairs, necessary part replacements, or full engine replacement, depending on what is required to fix the engine after a full examination of the engine is made. No engine will be physically examined while on the vehicle - it must be removed and delivered back to Sarad. Many times, a problem with the vehicle seems to be the engine but is not the case. Issues with injectors, turbos, fuel pumps, injection pumps, coils, and many other items on the vehicle may cause an engine to malfunction. Under Sarad's limited warranty, Sarad will gather the information from the customer and may suggest that some other actions be taken before the engine is taken out of the vehicle. These actions are only a suggestion to the customer and by no means a requirement. The customer is always welcome to remove the engine and bring it to Sarad for warranty examination. In the event that an engine is removed from a vehicle and is not found to be faulty after a full examination and dyno test, Sarad will return the engine to the customer at no extra cost to the customer. Testing and analysis costs will not be passed onto the customer.

Warranty Does Not Cover

1) Labor costs that the customer has incurred for any labor done on his/her vehicle. This includes but not limited to any installation, testing, removal, or reinstallation costs.
2) Loss of time, loss of income, loss of use of vehicle, inconvenience, commercial loss or incidental or consequential damages, injury to person, nor do repairs or replacement extend this warranty beyond the described period from the date of original installation.
3) Vehicle towing, engine delivery, or shipping costs.
4) Fluid replacements to the engine.
5) Accessories or damages to equipment not provided with the engine that was purchased from Sarad. These include but are not limited to: radiator, carburetor, fuel injectors, wiring, and starter.

What Voids the Warranty

In the event that an engine was not properly installed or used, the warranty will be voided.

Improper installation may include but is not limited to:

1) Bad engine adjustment and placement.
2) Fittings, screws, or any other pieces that were mistakenly dropped into the engine during installation.
3) Missing components that were not attached to the parts of the engine which were not purchased from Sarad (ex: coils, sensors, cooling system components...)
4) Use of undiagnosed faulty components that could affect the engine's health. Any such components may contain broken pieces that could enter and damage the engine during vehicle use. These include but are not limited to contaminated, broken, or faulty:
a) Injection system (injectors, injection pump, fuel pump..)
b) EGR valves
c) Filters and fluids
d) Electrical sensors and computers
e) Transmission and torque converter
f) Contaminated exhaust and intake systems (intake manifold and catalytic converter).

Improper Use of the Engine

Engines that are overheated void this warranty. Overheating can happen from many different causes which could include using too little oil, contaminated oil, missing antifreeze, and a faulty cooling system.
Engines that are modified and used in any way other than their intended application also void this warranty.
